Happy mother’s day to all the women out there with the heart of Mom. You nurture and raise up the next generation. You are encourager, supporter, nurser, lover, caregiver, coach, cook, etc
Mom friend, motherhood is not to be surmountable upon one day.
If your mother’s day is anything like mine: it’s weak if we’re looking to have it fuel and affirm a life of labor, love and service. I do cherish and love Mother’s Day but let us not lose focus on the 364 days to celebrate one another! It’s not Instagram worthy. You can’t really brag about it but don’t stay burdened or ashamed.
You are seen and loved.
You work willingly unto the Lord. You’re a daughter of the King!
So, if you find your Mother’s day isn’t happy, defined by social media or trying to hold a candle to someone else–Don’t stay down. Get up and see… God above says “Come… there’s rest with me.”
