Morning Has Dawned

‘”The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14 (NLT)

“If any of you lacks wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James 1:5 (NLT)

I woke up this morning to thoughts of how others do things like keep house or organize or such and such. I said to myself, “I can see how so and so does x, y, and z.” Immediately, I felt Holy Spirit say to my heart: You don’t need to look to others, look to me.

What counsel! What comfort! What truth! What peace!

Time and time, I’ve heard and read that Jesus gives his Holy Spirit (See John 14:15-21) and Holy Spirit is able to do all things and first thing this morning as we await the Season of Pentecost: he spoke to me!

My heart went for lesser things, yet my Advocate went for greater and greatest. Because he is Creator, I believe he is going to show me how I can do what I want and need to do in my home! I don’t need to overwhelm myself with what my friend does for her home, or what the gal does on Pinterest or Instagram! What a comfort that he spoke to me today! My heart says, “Yes, Lord! I trust you. Will you show me what you want me to do for my family and in my home today?”

Today, will you join me in praying: Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see your presence. Show me more of you in my life.

Consider today: What is your great struggle? What is your biggest battle? What has you shaken? What wants to steal your peace? Can I tell you that if you a child of God, he is with you and he is for you! You just stay calm, the Lord will fight for you. Be still my friend; go to God, and see him work. If he is present for me, he is going to show up for you! Blessings! -SR

Life can be full of hope and abundance; I am certain we can find it because the life we want and desire: Jesus came to give us life and we can have it abundantly! A little about me: I am a wife, first. Next, I am a mama to five children; my husband and I have four daughters and son! I love to connect and talk about things of God and look for beauty in life.
