Here we are in October!
The year is 2021.
We would have never known what do you and don’t know as things are said and done.
Over 700,000 lives lost to a pandemic, namely COVID–the virus.
Many still walk around dead or dying… without hope and smiling on the outside yet internally crying.
I see movement and meetings at neck-breaking speeds–more like covid inducing speeds…
My people aren’t my people but… my God is still my God.
I am praying for those whose lives have been tethered to American Christianity… do this and get… believe this and get.
Gosperity, I call it.
Get a car: buy a newer one next.
Land a place to live, upgrade: 1000 sq ft too small, go for 2000 sq ft OR more… Can’t afford the mortgage, climb the ladder!
Gosperity… God sent Jesus to die for us so those who believe can live happily ever after.
Gosperity… do things without a social responsiblity so what??… Titus 2… the word of God gets reviled.
I don’t believe in “this do and get” mentality. I don’t believe in Power, prosperity, and obtaining posession as a “level up=good Christian” mentality… it isn’t right. It is wrong. It reviles God’s word… Paul talks about knowing what it is to have little and what it is to have a lot. Timothy talks about godliness and contentment is GREAT gain… but American Christianity has been telling me: you believe in God, then you’ll have what you need (materially)… but that’s not what I have read.
