Oh Lord, I’m overwhelmed.
Meet me here.
Oh Lord, I am sad.
Meet me here.
Why are hearts so hard? So… heavy? So… heinous?
Spinning and swirling through thoughts like thorn
They prick and pick at me…
I feel as though my heart is bleeding.
People fighting… people lying… people emboldens to pursue possessions and power: GREED
Greed…I do not like to read. I do not like to see and process that’s what’s behind the plan… GREED. MORE, MORE, MORE as if a game on the soccer field S C O R E score score…

My heart it aches seeing how people go about life as “normal” during a pandemic.
Wow.
Gathering in large groups, no mask.
I don’t know who is vaccinated, unvaccinated, sick or well… I cannot look internally into their health and tell BUT…I do see intentions “Business as usual”.
So, my resolve is to do life with my husband and kids and few friends in a surrendered space where we uphold the lives of others and minimize gathers and spreading of disease…
I also, while away from physical gatherings, want to minimize disease of the mind: falsehood, gossip, slander, bitterness and rage.
I see folks who call themselves by whatever identity yet see now fruit. Falsehood, put it off.
I see clubs and cliches… no thanks: avoid.
How do I move forward in this season: with honor and responsibility…
I will seek to bring light in to dark place of thinking and speaking. I will bring salt and seasoning in places where life is bland or without…
Many are out and about using a flashlight when they could let the sun in. Many are out there groping and grasping when the opportunity is to look, see, and select carefully, cater and curate…
In this season, I want to curate a life that has truth, Biblical truth, but love… Biblical love…
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
God loves each one of us…
He proved it: he sent Jesus long ago.
I believe in God and the message of Jesus: I get my sins forgiven and eternal life… So sweet and simple.
You can do this today.
*praying for you today… May you know you are loved!
Because he first loved us, let us love boldly others!!
