Hi friends! How is everyone?
I wanted to share that I’ve a bit on the “stressed” side as my husband is recovering from his COVID shot and we’re coping with daylight savings with little ones and homeschooling mixed in to all. The seas are rough with five children and caring for my husband but it’s ok!
We’re going to get our second dose of the COVID vaccine April 11th. We’re grateful!
Ok… March 16th and my moods have been all over. Mostly, I do feel thankful and I am catching when I ride on the negative and nit-picking bus…
Today, for instance, I walked around with a cloud on my head and a grimace due to all the demands and my fears rising… as I was walking back and forth from house to car and loading it up with kids’ things and mine, I felt the Spirit say to me…what’s going on?
I then shifted my thinking to fatalistic to more hopeful and thankful…
I am glad I get to go for a drive, we get to go to the library, we get to…
So, friends, I don’t know if you can take a look at your last 24-48 hours but how have most of your thoughts been?
Good, right, pure, true… or opposite: bad, wrong, impure and untrue…?
Let’s shift our minds and hearts together! Let’s play “I spy…” and look for those things in we have! Let’s be grateful to what God has allowed us to have…Here are my things I’m thankful for:
I’m glad to be a wife and a mama. I am thankful I have a car and can drive! I am grateful that I have a good driving record, too! I am grateful for resources in our city: library and parks and trails. I am grateful for friends who call me!
Grab a pen and paper and begin your “I spy” game of blessings and things in which you can be grateful.
