Motherhood some days got me like… yes, just dot dot dot. I
Sometimes, I find myself feeling in over my head and I just opened my eyes for a new day. On days where the sun shining thru the curtains is more dread than dream, my soul whispers a prayer.
Lord, be my guide. Thank you for this new day.
I am on a new adventure this 2020-2021 school year and we are homeschooling! I have a third grader, a second grader and a kindergartener. I also have a tag-a-long preschooler and soon-to-be toddler.
On the days that I forget to dream and savor I have to hit the “pause button” and locate my “gratitude button.” When I sit in the seat that is set up for savoring, I have the right view to see all I have before me are part of my dream coming true.

When I consider the blessings, I am able to remember the One Who Blesses.
When I count the ways he has blessed me, I recount the ways He is Worthy.
When I call upon him and exalt his name, I see his presence ever before me.
How do I keep focused on wonder in my life: His grace and my gratitude. I can thank him for all he has done.
Today, I got up and got dressed (and put a little make-up on). Today, I smiled genuinely. Today, I have breath, sight, touch, sense of smell, and hearing. Today, I have mobility. I hugged my children and laughed with them. Today, I did laundry and made meals, and so much more. I got to do all this because his grace is sufficient for me.
If we need any kind of attitude it is that of gratitude.
How can we posture our hearts today to see blessing and to be grateful?
I’d love to hear from you! Comment below.
