Can you believe that we are in September?! If you feel like me and most of the world: the year hasn’t gone swimmingly or smooth. I could not have foreseen that upon a visit my family in January spurred on by the request of my children, it would be the last trip of 2020 that I’d visit my parents and siblings (and my nieces & nephew). *
Today, September first: Did you know we have 121 days left in 2020? We have 17 Saturdays remaining?!
Something I think we can consider together: Being intentional.
We could make a list of potential woes of 2020 and sit and sulk, but I say let’s create space and room for wonder. I don’t know about you but I could always use more wonder.
So friend, what are you doing to create room for wonder? What does that look like?
My five today:
Stop and listen to the giggles and chuckles of my children.
Phone a friend.
Take some time to meditate.
Give thanks: making a gratitude list helps me to be a recipient of grace
Create: make a delicious meal for dinner (I made Pho)

Your turn:
No matter what you day has looked like, or how your week has started. I encourage you… let go of the “woes” and create room for wonder today. You’ll feel and look better, I guarantee it!
*BTW: My parents and siblings are fine, we are wanting to uphold care and caution in this season and not travel.
