Welcome to Day 2 of our Prayer Series.
What is Prayer? Talking and listening to God. We’ll back-track, rewind as we are looking to go through seven days about prayer or scripted prayers.
Although this is day two, this is the most important prayer any one person can pray in their entire life time. Think of the letters A, B, and C.

A is for Admit
B is for Believe
and C is for Choose.
When it comes to praying and power of prayer we have but one prerequisite for following this prayer series: Salvation! (If you’re interested) What is salvation? Salvation is the act of saving. In a broken and fallen world, all people apart from trusting in God through Jesus Christ need salvation, or saving.
If you are curious, read on.
The Bible talks about there is one name in which we must be saved!
Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
In any other group/system: we work, we do, we get and “yay” for the shortest time. Salvation in Jesus Christ means: God so loved the world, he gave us his one and only son, Jesus, that whoever believes in him would not perish but have eternal life. (See John 3:16)
You don’t have to be ready, just willing. If you want to pray this first and forever, life changing (for eternity) prayer, we go back to our A, B, and C model: Admit, Believe and Choose.
The Prayer goes something like: Dear God, I admit that we are fallen and broken in need of a Savior. We have no other way and can trust in no other name. B is for Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord; Jesus is the way to God and Jesus is God that he died and God raised him from the dead. In Jesus we have forgiveness of sins and receive eternal life! Last, C for Choose. God, I choose to put my trust in Jesus. God you’ve called me, I will answer. Thank you for receiving me! Amen!
Simple.
That prayer you prayed, friend…makes you part of God’s family. You’ve turned from darkness to light. You’ve chosen God’s family as he welcomes you: you are now made new!
Welcome to God’s family!
I look forward to having you join me for prayer over the next 5 days!
