Friends! Can you believe we are in the month of June?! As we go into such a season from COVID to the racism pandemic in America–would you pray with me? I’ll be doing a seven day series of prayers. Tonight’s prayer is of asking God to take our lives and make it for his purposes: to live and be as he calls us! Becoming all he would have us be.

Prayer series 1. Prayer of Consecration.
Father, I open my hands to receive your gifts. I ask you to give me eyes anew for eternity. Help me to see your goodness and loving-kindness and mercy following me all the days of my life. I want to dwell in your presence.
As I go into a night of rest, I seek you for a night of rest and peace. My life was bought with a price and by the blood of Jesus, I’m new. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, the old has gone the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
I surrender control for heart, house, and family. All I have is yours.
As the hymn “Take My Life and Let It Be” by Frances Havergal reads:
Take my life and let it be consecrated Lord, to thee.
Take my moments and my days, let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of thy love.
Take my feet and let them be swift and beautiful for thee.Take my voice and let me sing always, only for my king.
Take my lips and let them be filled with messages from thee.
Take my silver and my gold not a might would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use every power as you choose.
Let it be our prayer tonight (or today…)
Blessings!
