About a year ago, I decided to buy some plants and keep them in containers fill up a little space in our front yard. Know very well that I was not ready to plant them in the dirt, I kept most of the plants and replanted them from their small plastic pots and experimented with planting them with other flowers grouping three plants together.

I noticed my flowers recently are outgrowing the container in which they have been planted.
The leaves are small, the flowers are small and they’re screaming: get me more dirt and more space! I want to grow deep so I can grow LARGE.

What my plants are teaching me is that I want to grow deep so I can grow larger (my capacity).
My prayer this season is asking God to grow my roots deep in him so that I am ready to grow up in Jesus. I don’t know if that resonates with you! Let’s pray together: God will you grow us up in you and your word? Draw us near to you so that we can grow deep roots and mature in you. Amen.
