Life Water

I love seeing my girls run through sprinklers yesterday at Grandma’s and Grandpa’s. Their cute faces and smiles and sheer joy running beneath the arc of the water and the rainbow glistening in the water.

In the water, they are their truest selves, laying in puddles now sprinkled with grass and muddied with dirt. In the water, we hear and see giggles and laughter; they play, run, and come alive.

Much like when we encounter Living Waters, we can be our truest selves…

We don’t think about what others think–no longer trying to let others validate us.

We play–we’re not looking for something or someone to fulfill us.

We smile and laugh–there is expression of joy.

Is COVID-19 still out there? Yes. Is heartache, death and dying still a present reality: absolutely, but there isn’t a spirit of fear or worry to distract us from the encounters with Living Waters. Our thirst is fulfilled.

My prayer today is no matter what we face, may we picture the joy of our littles playing in the sprinkler where they have encountered water.. they’re joy unquenchable, fears washed away… May we run, play, and soak up the presence of Living Water through God’s word and the working of the Holy Spirit.

Let’s pray: Our Father in Heaven, how we long to have fullness of life here on earth, the abundant life. Though we’re just passing through and Heaven is Home, Lord, we ask for the tangible presence of Holy Spirit. Help us to draw near to you as you draw near to us. Let us crave you: your word and your presence. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*If you want to know Jesus Christ who is Living Waters, needing drink of the thirst of your soul: email or message me. I’d love to tell you how I found Living Waters, eternity secured.

Life can be full of hope and abundance; I am certain we can find it because the life we want and desire: Jesus came to give us life and we can have it abundantly! A little about me: I am a wife, first. Next, I am a mama to five children; my husband and I have four daughters and son! I love to connect and talk about things of God and look for beauty in life.
