Tricks

I was walking and talking around the house with our five year old, Betsy, when she said to me, “Mom, my Kindle tricks me sometimes because I turn it on but then it’s at one percent!” *Oh, out of the mouth of babes.* I find that lately it feels all to true about my day to day attitude. Yes, our electronics certainly needs it’s proper source for power. I find that I wake up and go on my way to approach tasks for the day but I’m at a lower percentage than needed or desired. On such days, I have to sit or savor before setting on my quest to conquer the mountain of laundry or the depths of dishes.

We all can too easily jump into our day in our own strength forgetting to plug into The Source for life & love to lead us into a successful day.

On days where we find ourself easily frustrated and worn down and the clock beams a time well before 8am, let us think and tell God the words, ” I need you! Your grace is sufficient for me.”

Let’s go to God’s word:

‘Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.’ (NLT)

From 2 Corinthians 12:9

Let’s go at our tasks and relationships together! We can ask that God’s grace infuse our thinking and our actions.

Let’s pray:

Dear God, as I go through my day, no matter the time or the tasks, please infuse me with grace. Grow in me faith that I may know you more and be known by you. Thank you for it is by grace that I have been saved not by works. Let me live & love because of you and what Jesus did for me. Amen

Life can be full of hope and abundance; I am certain we can find it because the life we want and desire: Jesus came to give us life and we can have it abundantly! A little about me: I am a wife, first. Next, I am a mama to five children; my husband and I have four daughters and son! I love to connect and talk about things of God and look for beauty in life.
